Emergency Hull Inspection for Commercial Tanker

The Challenge
A commercial tanker reported a suspected hull breach after navigating through a debris field. The vessel was unable to continue its voyage until a full inspection was completed and certified.
Our Solution
Aquasub Services deployed a rapid-response dive team within hours. We performed a comprehensive underwater inspection of the hull, using high-resolution cameras and ultrasonic non-destructive testing (NDT) equipment to check for damage and metal fatigue.
The Result
The inspection revealed only superficial damage. We provided a certified report to the client and port authorities, allowing the vessel to be cleared for departure with minimal delay, saving the client significant downtime and costs.
OCP Group Subsea Slurry Pipeline Repair

The Challenge
During a scheduled inspection of a primary phosphate slurry outfall pipeline, a section was identified with significant abrasion and a potential stress fracture, risking an environmental leak and a halt in production.
Our Solution
Aquasub Services' certified welder-divers were deployed to perform an in-situ repair. Using specialized hydraulic cutting tools, the compromised section was cleanly removed. Our team then executed a coded underwater wet weld to install a custom-fabricated replacement spool piece, following strict industry procedures.
The Result
The wet-welded repair successfully passed all post-weld inspections, including MPI. The pipeline's integrity was restored with minimal downtime, securing a vital export channel for OCP Group and preventing environmental impact.
